Call for the Journal of Early Intervention (JEI) Reviewers, Editorial Board Members, and Associate Editors
Journal of Early Intervention (JEI) is soliciting individuals interested in serving as ad hoc reviewers, editorial board members, and associate editors.
Members representative of the diversity of DEC membership are encouraged to apply, including race, ethnicity, culture, language, dialect, age, ability, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion/spirituality, and national origin. We seek representation of geography, organizations, agencies, universities, and experience. We seek members representing all member categories (practitioners, family members, higher education faculty, etc.). Applicants should be knowledgeable about the DEC Mission and Policies (including the Priority Issues Agenda), and Racial Equity Point of View. Individuals will be required to be current DEC members or to join DEC.
Open roles include:
Ad hoc (guest) reviewers are those with research expertise who support reviews of manuscript as needed; reviewers are assigned manuscripts as needed base on expertise/experience alignment with manuscript.
Editorial Board Members have 2+ years of experience as reviewers in research journals and support the review of 6-8 manuscripts per year.
Associate Editors have 2+ years of experience as editorial board members and support reviewer assignments and make decision recommendations on assigned manuscripts. AEs are assigned 15-20 articles per year.
