Partnership Committee Goals
DEC's Partnership Committee develops and maintains relationships between DEC and other organizations concerned with young children with disabilities and their families in support of the DEC mission and strategic goals.

Partnership Committee Activities
DEC Conference: The Partnership Committee plans several conference session that focus on effective partnerships.

Other Conferences: The Partnership Committee also links and conducts sessions at partner organizations' conferences.

Partnership Projects
DEC partners with a variety of organizations and coalitions to advocate on issues influencing services to young children with disabilities and their families. DEC's Governmental Relations Committee is actively engaged in policy analysis and advocacy efforts. DEC is a member of the Consortium for Citizens for Disabilities and other early childhood coalitions.

Center on Social Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL)
A national center focused on strengthening the capacity of child care and Head Start programs to improve the social and emotional outcomes of young children. The Center will develop and disseminate evidence-based, user-friendly information to help early childhood educators meet the needs of the growing number of children with challenging behaviors and mental health challenges in child care and Head Start programs

Technical Assistance Center on Social Emotional Intervention for Young Children (TACSEI)
Is a continuation and expansion of the work of the Center for Evidence-Based Practice, Young Children with Challenging Behavior. TACSEI gives decision makers, caregiver and service providers an enhanced awareness, an understanding of and an ability to use evidence-based practices for improving the social-emotional outcomes for young children.
