DEC welcomes you to engage in this newly formed leadership community. This SIG is intended for anyone who is interested in leadership as a concept or a practice and wants to affiliate with others and develop capacity in themselves and the field.
The goal of this SIG is to serve as community of practice, as described by Etienne Wegner (1998), where individuals that have a common interest in the domain of leadership come together share, build, and manage the knowledge they need.
Since we are new, we are still developing but watch for resources such as, websites, readings, stories, tools, or strategies that address issues of leadership and leadership development in the field.
